Triton has dates for preseason football scrimmages.

The Hawks will go against Terry Sanford in the Cumberland County Jamboree on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m. on Field B at Pine Forest.

The Harnett County Jamboree is Friday, Aug. 10, at Campbell’s Barker-Lane Stadium. Harnett Central, Overhills, Triton and Western Harnett will be joined by Apex, North Johnston, Southern Nash and Southern Wayne.

The first day of official preseason practice, as mandated by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, is July 30.

The Hawks start spring practice on May 14,

Triton starts the 2018 season at Enloe on Aug. 17. The Hawks held off the Eagles, 24-21, at home to begin the 2017 campaign.

Triton went 6-6 overall and 3-2 in its first year in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference. Enloe finished 4-7 overall and 1-5 in the Cap Seven 4-A Conference.
