Dorman’s scoring boosts CFCA to 5-1 soccer win

Bailey Dorman had three goals on Tuesday as Cape Fear Christian Academy’s varsity girls soccer team ttok a 5-1 nonconference win over visiting Ridgecroft.

Ella John Dupree added an unassisted goal and had assists on two of Dorman’s scores.

The Rams scored first but Dorman soon equalized. An own goal by the visitors put CFCA ahead to stay. Dorman registerd again to put the Eagles ahead, 3-1, at the half.

Grace Viox had eight saves for CFCA.

Seven different players had shots on goal as CFCA improved to 2-0 going into a match at Fayetteville Christian on February 15, at 6 p.m.
