Dunn claims share of middle school volleyball title

Dunn Middle School’s volleyball team won 3-0 at Overhills on Thursday to share the conference championship with Coats-Erwin. Set scores were 25-15, 25-20 and 25-13.

The Greenwaves had a 10-1 record.

Olivia Godwin had two kills and nine aces for Dunn. Gracy Norris had five kills and three aces. Chyna Massey had three kills. Evie Eller put away one kill. Sydney Bradham contributed three aces.

Stephanie Davis, Emma Stanley, Virginia Pope and Lindsey Knoll were credited with great defensive efforts by coach Teri Brown.
