Anthony Jones pitched a 3-hitter and struck out 10 in leading Dunn to a 12–2 middle school baseball win at Coats–Erwin on Monday.

The Greenwaves improved to 8-2 while the Falcons fell to 6-1.

Dunn took a 1–0 lead in the top of the third, then scored six runs in the fourth. The Greenwaves had six hits and took advantage of several errors.

Jaleel White, Jalen Evans, and Jamari Thompson had hits for the Falcons. Evans and Braxton Davis scored runs for the hosts.

The two teams meet again Wednesday at Dunn.
