The Cape Fear Christian Academy varsity baseball team hit the ball throughout the lineup in a 16-0 Sandhills Athletic Conference win over visiting Berean Baptist on Tuesday.

Senior left-hander Reid Miller pitched a 1-hitter with eight strikeouts in three innings.

Miller escaped a jam after the Bulldogs loaded the bases in the first inning.

David Okropiridze and Trevor McLamb each went 3-for-3 in the win. Miller had a double and a triple. Getting two hits each were Cason Pope, DeShawn Woods, Landon Alphin and Miller.

Alphin and Cole Godwin had doubles. Zeke Brock had one hit.

CFCA improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the SAC going into a home game with Village (9-2, 4-0) on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
