The Cape Fear Christian Academy cross country team competed Monday at Fayetteville Christian.

The Cape Fear Christian Academy cross country team ran in a Sandhills Athletic Conference meet Monday at Fayetteville Christian.

Trey Tripp led the CFCA boys with a time of 26 minutes, three seconds over the five-kilometer course for 14th place.

Ruby George of CFCA was eighth in the girls division in 28:06. Trinity Olive was 10th in 29:15.

The next SAC meet for the Eagles will be on Oct. 11 at the Cape Fear Trail at the Jordan Soccer Complex in Fayetteville.
