Cape Fear Christian Academy defeated Crossroads Christian of Henderson, 358-418, in an 18-hole golf match over the Orange and Black nines at Keith Hills on Thursday.

Scorers for the Eagles included medalist Ben Thompson with an 80, Cade Godwin (83), Hunter Roberts (97) and Ezra Smith (98).

The Colts were led by a 96 from Gavin Carroll.

The Eagles began the week second in the NCISAA 1-A rankings.
