Cape Fear Christian Academy honored athletes and teams from fall sports at a banquet in the school gym on Tuesday night, November 1.

The Eagles won the NCISAA 1-A boys soccer championship, earned a second-place finish in the state girls tennis tournament and captured regular-season and tournament titles in the Mid-Carolina Conference in volleyball.

“There were significant team achievements in a variety of sports,” said CFCA athletic director Al Myatt. “Common factors were good coaching, coachable and talented athletes, and a supportive fan base.”

Coaches from 11 teams presented individual awards during the program.
