Cape Fear Christian Academy presented its fall athletic awards in the school gym on Thursday evening.
The Eagles won regular-season conference championships in middle school and junior varsity volleyball. The varsity volleyball team earned a berth in the state playoffs.
It was announced that high school principal Michael Breslin will coach middle school girls soccer in the spring and varsity boys soccer next fall. Breslin, a former goalie at Virginia Tech, has coached the CFCA middle school boys soccer team.
Three Eagles earned all-conference recognition in the Sandhills Athletic Conference — Ruby George in cross country, Reyna Johnson in volleyball and Anslee McLamb in volleyball.
