Cape Fear Christian Academy presented awards for nine fall sports teams on Thursday night.
The girls tennis team was runner-up in the NCISAA 1-A tournament. The varsity boys soccer team reached the state semifinals and the varsity volleyball team, which won the Falcon Invitational at Lee Christian, played in the state quarterfinals.
The junior varsity volleyball team showed significant improvement over the previous season.
The middle school volleyball team won the Mid-Carolina Conference regular season and tournament titles, going 17-1 overall.
CFCA won the MCC tournament in middle school soccer.
The Eagles were unbeaten in girls golf with two qualifiers for the state tournament, Susie Min and Annabelle Scott.
Yasmeen Castillo won the MCC middle school girls cross country championship in record time at Lee Christian. The CFCA middle school boys cross country team of Lenin Castillo, Sawyer Tyndall and Cooper Andrews won the MCC regular season and conference meet championships.
