The Cape Fear Christian Academy varsity boys golf team was second in the NCISAA 1-A tournament at Jamestown Park Golf Course after the first round on Monday afternoon.
CFCA’s 264 total included a 77 from Ben Thompson, an 88 from Cade Godwin and a 99 from Hunter Roberts.
Northeast Academy was in first with an individual low 72 from Preston Ordnung in a 224 team total.
Play was scheduled to continue with the concluding round on Tuesday.
