Cape Fear Christian Academy started the week with a pair of 3-0 sweeps in Sandhills Athletic Conference play.

The Eagles defeated host Berean Baptist on Monday, overcoming a 9-point deficit in the third set.

CFCA improved to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in league play with a 25-2, 25-5, 25-9 win over visiting Trinity Christian on Tuesday. Claire Parker had 16 straight service points in the first set and Rhyleigh Horne started the third set with 13 in a row.

A home match with Northwood Temple on Thursday has been postponed to October 1 due to COVID issues at NTA.
