Cape Fear Christian Academy’s girls tennis team improved to 2-0 in the Sandhills Athletic Conference with a 7-2 win over visiting Village Christian on Wednesday.

Singles winners for the Eagles included Ella John Dupree at No. 1, Madeline Brocious at No. 2, Aubrey Jackson at No. 4 and Cami Gustis at No. 6.

CFCA swept the doubles with Dupree and Aubrey Jackson winning at No. 1. Brocious and Anna Jackson combined at No. 2. Karson Hamilton and Nina Sauer prevailed at No. 3.

The Eagles visit Fayetteville Christian on Friday at 4 p.m. for a match at Arnette Park.
