Cape Fear Christian Academy’s girls tennis team improved to 2-0 with a 6-3 win at Triton on Monday.
Ella John Dupree won for the Eagles in the No. 1 singles and teamed with Karson Hamilton for a victory in the No. 1 doubles.
Hamilton was a winner in the No. 2 singles.
Lily Kate Dupree prevailed in the No. 4 singles and took the No. 2 doubles with Savannah Autry.
Courtney Butts won the No. 6 singles for CFCA.
Shelby McLamb in the No. 3 singles and Abbie Godwin at No. 5 recorded points for the Hawks. Godwin and Addie Albright took the No. 3 doubles.
The Eagles play Village at Mazerick Park in Fayetteville on Friday at 4 p.m. Triton was scheduled to host to Clinton today (August 22).
