Cape Fear Christian Academy topped Fayetteville Christian, 5-4, in a girls tennis match played Wednesday at Harnett Central.

Ella John Dupree rallied to avenge an earlier loss in the No. 1 singles after dropping the first set. She won the second set, 6-3. She came back for an 11-9 win in the tiebreaker and teamed with Karson Hamilton for an 8-6 victory in the No. 1 doubles.

The Eagles got singles wins from sisters Ella Butts at No. 5 and Courtney Butts at No. 6.

Ella Butts and Ava Jones won the No. 3 doubles.

CFCA (9-1) expects to learn its seeding for the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association playoffs on Sunday.
