Cape Fear Christian Academy defeated Bradford, 3-0, in its Mid-Carolina Conference volleyball opener in Mebane on Thursday.
Set scores were 25-14, 25-20 and 25-11.
The Eagles improved to 1-2 overall going into a league match at Cresset (3-3) today.
The CFCA middle school team (1-0) plays at Cresset today at 4 p.m. with the varsity scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
