Five basketball players from Harnett Central have earned All-Tri-County Six 3-A Conference honors.
Maliah Banks, Michaela Cabe and Jordyn Johnson-McLean have been recognized from the Central girls, who shared the regular-season championship in the league with Union Pines.
The Trojan boys were represented by Kasey Perkins and Jalaan Signal on the all-league boys team.
Banks averaged 16.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 4.5 steals as the Lady Trojans went 21-5 and reached the second round of the NCHSAA playoffs. Cabe, who has signed with Peace, averaged 9.3 points. Johnson-McLean averaged 4.8 points and 5.5 rebounds.
Signal had a 9.9 scoring average and Perkins provided 8.1 points per game as the Central boys were 14-10 and made the playoffs.
