Fall sports practice may begin for North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association teams in low- to moderate-risk sports on Monday. Competition can start for low-risk sports such as cross country and girls tennis the week of September 8. Moderate-risk sports such as volleyball and boys soccer can get play underway the week of September 14.
