Visiting Goldsboro took a 3-1 varsity volleyball win at Midway on Thursday as the Cougars improved to 13-0 overall and 12-0 in the East Central 2-A Conference.

Midway is 9-3 overall and in league play after a second straight loss to Goldsboro.

Set scores were 25-22, 25-19, 14-25 and 25-12.

Goldsboro is assured of an NCHSAA playoff berth. The Raiders are projected to be a wild card seed.
