Dunn Middle School’s football team took a 12-6 victory at Western Harnett on Wednesday as Jaeshaun Murchison ran for two touchdowns.

Murchison finished with 85 yards rushing, getting into the end zone on carries of 3 and 12 yards.

Murchison also completed an 11-yard pass to Avery Ellington. Jaden Sorrell had 30 yards rushing for the Greenwaves and Trejon Lindsey ran for 28 yards as Dunn gained 162 yards on the ground.

Murchison had seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Sorrell and Lindsey were each in on six stops with Lindsey making a tackle for loss. Zack Winters had five tackles and forced a fumble. Richard Bell was credited with a sack and Jordan Mantle had a tackle for loss.

Dunn will host Shughart for its Homecoming game Wednesday.
