Triton’s wrestling team participated in a quad meet Tuesday night at West Johnston, winning two of three matches.

The Hawks topped Fuqauy-Varina 42-33, lost to the host Wildcats, 41-36, and ended the night with a 48-27 win over South Central of Greenville.

Going 3-0 for the Hawks were Nick Williams at 145 pounds, Romello Cowan (170,182), Brice Holiday (195) and Tyre Cameron (220).

Going 2-1 for Triton were Antoine Mosley (160), Matthew Shorb (113), Malachi Nettles (170,182) and Michael Carvin (285).

Talon Keeler won his first match for the Hawks.
