UPDATE: Triton’s varsity boys soccer team is scheduled to visit South Johnston for a nonconference match on Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

The contest was originally set for Wednesday, August 22, but was postponed due to wet field conditions.

The Hawks opened the season Monday with a 5-2 setback at Smithfield-Selma.

Senior Paul Wells and sophomore Merced Mendez had goals for Triton in the first game. Senior Gage Smith, who had 25 goals last season, had two assists at SSS.

South (1-1) is coming off a 7-3 loss to Corinth Holders on August 14.
