Wrestlers from Triton competed in the Green Hope Grapple Tournament on Saturday and were 11th out of 22 teams.

Nick Williams (145 pounds) and Jalonte McNeil (285) of the Hawks had second-place finishes.

Triton coach David Weathersby noted that Matthew Shorb (113) had a gritty performance and was fifth in one of the toughest divisions in the tournament.

The Hawks will compete in a quad meet with Western Harnett, Carborro and host Athens Drive on Wednesday.
