Triton hosted Midway for junior varsity football on Thursday night but a thunderstorm concluded the matchup late in the second quarter before it was an official game.

Freshman Cody Ammons had both touchdowns for the Raiders, who led 12-6 when play was stopped.

A.J. Dewar scored on a 4th-and-1 for the Hawks after his lengthy run into the red zone shortly before lightning brought the contest to a halt.

Midway is scheduled to start its varsity season at Hobbton tonight at 7 p.m., weather permitting.
