Host Triton got three goals and an assist from Francisco Martinez in an 8-2 varsity boys soccer win over Western Harnett on Monday night.
The Hawks improved to 10-4-1 overall and 5-2 in the All American Conference going into a match at Pine Forest (6-7, 5-3) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Benny Villalvazo had two goals and two assists for Triton. Omar Hernandez had a goal and an assist. Luis Elizalde-Valente and Victor Cano each scored for the Hawks.
Uriel Morales-Olvera and Braxton Davis each yielded one goal as keepers for Triton.
The Hawks were coming off a 7-0 win at Westover on Wednesday in which Martinez and Villalvazo each scored three goals.
Western (1-7, 1-6) is scheduled to visit Overhills (3-8, 2-6) tonight at 6 p.m. The Eagles host the Hawks on Thursday at 6 p.m.
