Triton has announced that it will host West Johnston in football on November 9.

The NCHSAA has extended the football regular season one week in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.

The Hawks and Wildcats were originally scheduled to play on Sept. 14.

Triton (0-3) has not played since Sept. 7. Games at Fike (Sept. 21) and Overhills (Sept. 28) have been cancelled.

The next game for the Hawks will be Friday, Oct. 5 at home against Western Harnett. That will be homecoming for Triton and the first Tri-County Six 3-A Conference game for both teams.
