Hawks tie for first on Senior Day

The Triton girls golf team got 51s from Lana Klein, Mikaylee Flowers, Taylor Whitney and Neva Chance in shooting a 153 team score for a tie for first with North Johnston in a Wayne County regional match hosted by the Hawks on their Senior Day at Chicora Country Club.

North Johnston’s Haley Narron was medalist with a 44.

Midway finished at 158 with a 51 from Laura Person, a 53 from Madison Peterson and a 54 by Miranda Holmes.

Also participating were teams from Princeton, C.B. Aycock and Wayne Country Day.
