The Triton girls golf team finished tied for second with Union Pines in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference girls golf match at Chicora Country Club on Monday.

Lee County shot 143 for first. The Hawks and Vikings each totaled 151.

Reece Patterson of Western Harnett was medalist with a 42.

Mikaylee Flowers led Triton with a 45. Lana Klein had a 52 for the Hawks and Mackenzie Reid added a 54.

Western was fourth in the team standings at 165. Harnett Central shot 201 and Southern Lee totaled 211.

Union Pines is hosting the next league golf match on Monday (Oct. 1) at Whispering Pines.
