Senior Arthur Torres scored both goals for the Triton varsity boys soccer team in a 2-1 win over Harnett Central on Wednesday on Senior Night for the Hawks.
Triton improved to 11-7-2 overall and 7-3 in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference.
Torres scored a goal in each half. The first was assisted by Dustin Byrd and Kevin Paz set up the second score for the Hawks.
Angel Escobedo scored off a deflection for Central (3-14, 2-7) in the 65th minute.
Triton coach Brian Foster credited senior keeper Cristian Delcid with a huge save in the remaining time to preserve the lead. Delcid had six saves.
Central hosts Lee for its Senior Night tonight (Thursday, Oct. 24).
