Emily Parker and Austin Bowling had two goals each as host Harnett Central posted a 5-0 varsity girls soccer win against Midway on Tuesday.

Parker opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Bowling added a goal at 16:13. Alexi Gordon provided a 3-0 lead with a goal in the 31st minute.

Parker’s second goal came in the 42nd minute and Bowling found the net for the second time at 47:17.

Madeline Langdon was in goal for Central’s second shutout. Central and South Johnston have flipped sites for their nonconference matchups. Central (2-0) hosts South (0-1) today (Wednesday, March 6) at 4 p.m.
