Harnett Central, which won the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference sportsmanship award for the 2017-18 school year, has announced its all-conference selections for the spring.
Laderique McNeill was Runner of the Year in track and field, Fallon Wimberly was Pitcher of the Year in softball and N.C. State signee Baker Nelson was Pitcher of the Year in baseball.
In boys track and field, McNeill, John Rhody, Everett Blake, Jesus Gonzalez and Robert Bowman earned all-conference honors.
In girls track and field, Ashley Vargas, Tanasia Davis, Kimberly Castro, Sierra Collins, Maliah Banks, Zykiah Matthews, Malaysia Smith, Elena Short, India Leach, Maggie McCormick and Jamele Bryant were recognized.
In boys tennis, those honored included Eric Nunes (sportsmanship), Luis Garcia and Thomas Lopez.
Cole Long and Seth Hagen were all-conference in boys golf.
In softball, honors went to Alexis Carroll, Tanner Williford, Anna Ausley, Kolby Medlin, Wimberly and Shelbie Gill (sportsmanship).
Baseball all-conference choices included Nelson, Johnny Grizzard and Austin Swan.
Selections in girls soccer were Hannah Nutt, Braelyn Barnes and Madeline Langdon (sportsmanship).
