After a scoreless first half, host Harnett Central got goals from Adrian Pillaca, Richie Diego and Sequoia Cortes-Medeiros for a 3-1 win over Triton in the Harnett County boys soccer tournament championship game Wednesday night.
The Hawks (1-1) avoided a shutout with a goal by Omar Hernandez on a penalty kick in the 71st minute.
Johnathan Valle-Tapia was in goal for the Trojans.
Braxton Davis had seven saves for Triton.
Western Harnett topped Overhills, 5-4, for third place in the first game Wednesday at Central.
The Hawks host Midway on Monday at 6 p.m. Central (2-0) visits Cleveland on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
