Harnett Central’s varsity volleyball team improved to 7-3 overall and 7-2 in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference on Tuesday with a 3-0 home win over Southern Lee.
Set scores were 25-17, 25-18 and 25-11.’
Central pulled away from an 11-10 lead in the first set. The Cavaliers were within 14-11 in the second set.
The Trojans reduced mistakes and dominated in the closing set.
Central closes the regular season at home against Triton on Thursday.
