High Point tops Camels

HIGH POINT — Jahaad Proctor scored all 20 of his points in the second half — including 12 in a decisive 22-5 run — to lead High Point to a 67-56 Big South Conference men’s basketball win over Campbell on Saturday night at the Millis Athletic Center.

Chris Clemons scored 26 points for Campbell (12-12, 6-6 Big South), which dropped its third straight. Cory Gensler added eight points for the Camels, who shot just 37 percent from the floor and made just 6-of-23 from beyond the arc.

The Camels visit Gardner-Webb on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs took an 82-80 win in overtime at CU on Jan. 3. G-W (12-13, 7-5) hosted and defeated Charleston Southern, 63-61, on Saturday.
