Caden Hodges, a freshman from Midway, led Fayetteville State to the CIAA golf championship at Jacksonville (NC) Country Club.

Hodges shot a 3-round total of 211, 5-under par, for medalist honors in the event completed Tuesday.

The former Raider earned Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors in the CIAA.

Hodges averaged 71.625 strokes in CIAA matches.
