Maggie McCormick of Harnett Central was first in major meet.

Maggie McCormick of Harnett Central won the girls division of the Hagan Stone Classic cross country meet in Pleasant Garde, south of Greensboro, on Saturday.

McCormick ran the five-kolometer course in 18 minutes, 2.73 seconds for a personal best.

Central’s girls were sixth in the team standings.

Katherine Priu of Cardinal Gibbons was second individually in 18:43.40.

Hidden Valley won the girls team title.
