The Cape Fear Christian Academy middle school boys golf team opened its season on Tuesday with a win at Keith Hills.

Led by a medalist 40 from Ben Thompson and a 41 from Jon Russell Wise, the Eagles had a 183 total on the Orange nine.

Harnett Central was second at 206. Highlands totaled 212 and Coats-Erwin shot 214.

The middle school Eagles are scheduled to play again on Tuesday at Keith Hills.
