Cape Fear Christian Academy’s middle school softball team defeated visiting Fayetteville Christian, 17-7, in five innings on Tuesday to improve to 1-1 on the 2024 season.

Leading hitters for CFCA included Lily Stanley, Kinsley Godwin, Finlee Ring and Kamryn Knight.

The CFCA team took a 17-5 loss at Freedom Christian on Thursday.

Next action for the Eagles middle school softball team will be Monday at Village Christian at 4 p.m.
