Midway defeated visiting West Craven, 3-0, in the first round of the NCISAA 2-A volleyball playoffs on Friday.
Set scores were 25-12, 25-15 and 25-19.
The Raiders, the No. 1 seed in the East, improved to 23-0 and will host Seaforth (15-4), the No. 16 seed, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the second round.
Seaforth topped visiting Southwest Onslow, 3-0, in the first round.
