Midway defeated visiting Cape Fear 3-1 in girls soccer on Thursday night to improve to 2-0 going into a game at Triton at 6:30 tonight (March 9).

The Raiders led 3-0 at the half. Rachel Edwards scored the first goal. Kasey McLamb tallied on a penalty kick. The third goal was by Carla Tyndall on an assist by Quinn Schmidlin.

Coach Trey Apperson credited the effort of goalie Jordan Wallum.
