Midway held its annual athletic banquet on Wednesday night.

Carson Calcutt was named the Kent Warren Male Athlete of the Year and Alyssa Wrench was named the Angie Matthews Female Athlete of the Year.

The Heart of a Champion Award went to Dalton Cannady of the boys and Ashley Gibson for the girls.

Raider Award winners were Alyssa Wrench (volleyball), Laura Person (girls golf), Cole Register (boys cross country and boys spring track), Madison Butler (girls cross country, girls winter track and girls spring track), Carson Calcutt (football), Luis Ventura Acosta (boys soccer), Ruth Core (girls swimming), Luke Williams (boys swimming), Bryson Core (boys basketball), Grace Honeycutt (cheerleading), Kaylee Jones (cheerleading), Logan Patrick (boys golf), Brayden Coats (boys winter track), Sanijae Sankey (girls basketball), Carli Carroll (girls soccer), Chandler Williford (baseball) and Karlee Martin (softball).

Patrick repeated as NCHSAA 2-A individual champion in boys golf.
