Midway scored all of its runs in the first three innings in a 9-1 East Central 2-A Confrerence varsity baseball win over visiting Wallace-Rose Hill on Friday afternoon.
Raider pitchers Cal Tyndall and Chandley Williford combined for 13 strikeouts as the Raiders improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The matchup was rescheduled for earlier in the day due to the forecast of rain Friday night.
Carson Calcutt and Cameron Barefoot each had two RBIs. Cameron Calcutt was 2-for-3 with a double. Also getting hits were Brayden Coats and Drew Matthews. Tyndall was hit by pitches twice.
Tyndall pitched the first three innings and Williford tossed the last four. The Bulldogs (2-2, 0-2 ECC) had five hits. The hosts were charged with one error.
Midway hosts Triton on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
