The Midway varsity baseball team scored three runs in the eighth inning for a 10-7 nonconference win at Rosewood on Wednesday night.

The Raiders improved to 9-0 going into a nonconference home game with Voyager Academy on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Jaron Register had a hit and three RBIs for Midway. Cal Tyndall had a hit, an RBI and scored twice. Drew Matthews had a hit and drove in a run. Eli Culbreth and Cameron Barefoot also had RBIs for the Raiders.

Carson Calcutt (double), Brayden Coats and Cameron Calcutt each had hits.

Carson Calcutt, Tyndall and Henry Happel stole two bases apiece.

The Raiders divided the pitching among Carson Calcutt, Tyndall, Campbell signee Chandler Williford and Dawson Wiggins with Williford (4-0) picking up the win.
