The Midway golf team set a new school record with a 297 score in winning the East Central 2-A Conference match at the Goldsboro Municipal course on Wednesday.

Logan Patrick led the Raiders with a 68 for medalist honors.

Andrew Eldridge had a 74 for Midway, Caden Hodge shot 77 and Matthew Faircloth had a 78.

East Duplin totaled 345 for second and Clinton was third at 351.

Midway’s previous record was a 302 from the preceding week.
