Midway’s varsity baseball team completed the regular season with a 4-0 East Central 2-A Conference win at Goldsboro on Thursday evening as the Raiders swept the Cougars.
Midway took a 12-0 win in softball and topped Goldsboro 2-1 in girls soccer.
Sawyer Sutton pitched five innings in the baseball shutout. He allowed three hits and walked two while striking out 11. Eli Culbreth went the last two innings, yielding no hits and one walk while recording five strikeouts.
Jaron Register and Cameron Calcutt each had one hit and two RBIs for the Raiders, who improved to 20-1 overall and 12-0 in league play.
In softball, Rylie Williams was 3-for-3 with two runs. Jega Depuyan drove in three runs. Chloe Baggett had a pair of RBIs.
Rachel Edwards had a goal and an assist for Midway in soccer. Quinn Schmidlin had a goal for the Raiders.
