Carson Calcutt, Chandler Williford and Dawson Wiggins combined for a 3-hit shutout as Midway took a 12-0 East Central 2-A Conference varsity baseball win at James Kenan on Monday night.

The Raiders scored in all five innings in improving to 19-1 overall and 11-0 in league play going into a conference contest at Goldsboro on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Cal Tyndall was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and scored three runs. Williford, Cameron Calcutt and Cameron Barefoot each had two hits and two RBIs.

Carson Calcutt and Brayden Coats each had two hits and an RBI. Drew Matthews had a hit and an RBI. Eli Culbreth had one of Midway’s 15 hits.
