Midway took a 3-2 East Central 2-A Conference varsity baseball win over visiting James Kenan on Wednesday with a run in the bottom of the seventh.

Chandler Williford and Jaron Register were each 1-for-3 with an RBI as the Raiders improved to 13-5 overall and 7-2 in the league going into a home conference game with East Duplin on Monday night at 7.

Colby Pope had an RBI. Cameron Barefoot had two hits and scored a run.

Carson Calcutt pitched four innings with seven strikeouts. Williford tossed three innings with four whiffs.
