Midway has taken first place in two East Central 2-A Conference golf matches.

On Monday, March 19, at Goldsboro, the Raiders totaled 308 as Trey Pope shot 72, Logan Patrick had a 73, Jordan Sullivan scored 80 and Andrew Eldridge totaled 83.

Chandler Perry of Clinton was the medalist at Goldsboro with a 69.

On Thursday, March 22, at Sandy Ridge, Midway won with a 330 as Patrick led the way with a 74 in chilly conditions. Pope had an 83, Matthew Faircloth shot 85 and Sullivan finished with an 88.

Clinton is hosting the league match on Monday, March 26, at Coharie Country Club. There is another East Central tournament at Southern Wayne Country Club on Wednesday.
