Midway won Monday’s NCHSAA 2-A Mid-East golf regional with a 331 score at Land-O-Lakes in Whiteville.

Glenn Patrick shot 76 to lead the Raiders despite hitting two shots into water hazards and carding a nine on No. 7. Patrick shot 33 on the back side.

Trey Pope came in with a 79 for the Raiders. Andrew Eldridge shot 84. Jordan Sullivan contributed a 92 to the team score.

Clinton was second at 338.

Midway plays in the state tournament at Whispering Pines on May 7-8.
