State golf team before the season was canceled due to efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. McLamb’s average ranked third for the Wolfpack. … Former Louisville left offensive tackle Mekhi Becton reportedly had a drug test flagged at the NFL combine. Becton will enter Stage 1 of the league’s intervention program. He will be tested periodically for 60 days. Becton is a projected top 10 pick in the NFL draft, which starts Thursday. … Southern Cal quarterback J.T. Daniels has entered the transfer portal. … Memphis guard Tyler Harris plans to transfer after averaging 9.8 points in two seasons with the Tigers. … Virginia Tech transfer guard Landers Nolley II will announce his commitment today. His final three include Georgia, Memphis and Ole Miss. He averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds as a freshman in 2019-20.
